Theology Progammes

The Theology programmes are designed to provide theological education Courses for learners who anticipate entering Christian service as; local church pastors, Christian education workers, denominational leaders, para-church workers, Chaplains and missionaries. This programme seeks to employ a variety of methods to make the delivery of the programme effective.

Bachelor of Theology

The four (4) year Bachelor of Theology programme is a 180 Credit hours programme.

Academic Admission Requirements

Five ‘O’ levels at Grade 12 or equivalent, one of which must be English Language at Credit (Grade 5) or better, with an additional four subjects at Credit (Grades 5 or 6) or better. The total number of points must not exceed 25.

Diploma of Theology

The three (3) year Diploma of Theology programme is a 135 Credit hours programme

Academic Admission Requirements

Five ‘O’ levels at Grade 12 or equivalent, one of which must be English Language at least at Credit (Grades 5 or 6) with an additional four subjects at pass (Grade 7 or 8) or better. The total number of points must not exceed 32.

School of Women in Ministry Studies

The Ministry Studies programme is tailor made for women. It is designed to equip women for ministry. The women will gain confidence and skills to minister as they lead with grace and effectiveness. It will help the women to realise their own gifts as they prepare to be servant leaders in their homes, churches or communities.

Diploma in School of Women Ministry Studies

The three year Diploma in Ministry studies programme is a 135 Credit hours programme. The sessions take place on a bi-monthly basis during the Zambian school year Calendar as well as during school term breaks.

Academic Entry Requirements

Five ‘O’ levels at Grade 12 or equivalent, one of which must be English Language at least at Credit (Grades 5 or 6) with an additional four subjects at pass (Grade 7 or 8) or better. The total number of points must not exceed 32.

Advanced Certificate in School of Women Ministry Studies

The two year Advanced Certificate in Ministry Studies programme is a 72 Credit hours programme.

Academic Entry Requirements

Five (5) ‘O’ levels at grade 12 or equivalent, one of which must be English Language at Credit (6) minimum with as additional four (4) subjects at Pass (7 or 8) or better.

Education Programmes - Secondary

The Theology with Religious Education programmes are designed to provide theological education courses for learners who anticipate entering Christian service serving as; Christian education workers, Chaplains and Secondary school teachers. This programe will employ a variety of methods to make the delivery of the programme effective.

Bachelor of Theology with Religious Education

The four (4) year Bachelor of Theology with Education for Secondary School Teachers, is a 180 Credit hours programme.

Academic Admission Requirements

Five ‘O’ levels at Grade 12 or equivalent, one of which must be English Language at Credit (Grade 5) or better, with an additional four subjects at Credit (Grades 5 or 6) or better. The total number of points must not exceed 25.

Bachelor of Primary School Teacher Education

The four (4) year Bachelor of Primary School Teacher Education is a 180 Credit hours programme. It is offered at degree level only.

Open and Distance Learning (ODL)

Bachelor of Theology and Education

The Degree in Theology and Education programme combines theology and education courses. The programme takes a 50% /50% approach. Translating into 50% theological courses and 50% education courses.

Five ‘O’ levels at Grade 12 or equivalent, one of which must be English Language at Credit (Grade 5) or better, with an additional four subjects at Credit (Grades 5 or 6) or better. The total number of points must not exceed 25.
